Saving & Bookmarking Important Websites

On Your Computer:

Open the website you want to bookmark.

  1. Look for the bookmark icon, usually represented by a star or a small flag, in your browser's toolbar.

  2. Click on the bookmark icon. A dropdown menu may appear, or the icon may change color to indicate that it has been bookmarked.

  3. You can also press "Ctrl + D" on Windows or "Command + D" on Mac as a shortcut to bookmark the page.

  4. Choose a name for the bookmark, or leave it as the default.

  5. Select the folder where you want to save the bookmark. You can choose from existing folders or create a new one.

  6. Click "Save" or "Add" to finalize the bookmarking process.


​Now, whenever you want to access the bookmarked site, you can simply click on the bookmarked link in your browser's bookmarks or favorites menu.


On Your Phone:

Open your mobile browser and navigate to the website you want to save.

  1. Look for the "Share" or "Options" button, usually represented by three dots or an arrow.

  2. Tap on the "Share" or "Options" button to reveal a list of options.

  3. From the list of options, select "Add to Home Screen" or "Add Bookmark" (the exact wording may vary depending on your device and browser).

  4. If you choose "Add to Home Screen," you can customize the name of the shortcut that will be created on your home screen.

  5. If you choose "Add Bookmark," you can choose a name for the bookmark and select a folder to save it in.

  6. Tap "Save" or "Add" to save the website.


​Now, whenever you want to access the bookmarked site, you can simply click on the icon on your homescreen.
